Clutches inside the box are probably worn. Being a kinda cruisy car of such the box tends to change gears by sliping the clutches so it gets a smooth change. If its not that check your solenoids.

Im not a mechanical genious at 17 tho so maybz get others opions as well. I did a quick look on the internet for you and thats all i could come up with tbh

Yeah, The codes are only going to come up with anything if the sensors pick up a fault, so if it isnt coming up with anything, it probably thinks everything is ok. The solenoids if they fault will generally make an error code, so my guess is the automatic clutches are worn out, there isnt a sensor to tell you that.

If the trans has done over 200,000km it's near the end of it's life unless well looked after. Check the colour of the oil - if brown it's due for a change/service. Clutches will wear, valve bodies get sticky, filters get clogged....all signs of old age.
It is possible to add some 'trans fix in a can' - this can make the clutches grip better and will give you a few more miles before overhaul as long as you don't abuse it.

As hako says you could try replacing the oil and add a can of trans fix or what ever they call it might help fix the problem would also be worth while adding a trans cooler.
