Opinion on rims (another one)

Now first things first, i think i may of put this thread accidentally into the My ride VR-VS section, if so i apologise greatly. I was just going to ask for everyones opinion of putting 17 inch Tremor rims onto a Maroon VS. Apologies to Tom for having to borrow his piccy, ive had it on my pc for a while now, if you want it gone, just say.

there are black ones wit a machined lip for sale in the parts section for like 1100.....i really dont like them... only cause they are too small for my liking....if they were 19'' or 20'' they would be sick......but not this small.....stick wit ya SS rims IMO

Personal choice. There is a red Vr around brisbane with similar rims but I think they are 18s which looks pretty good.

Ahh as i said in the first post, the picture is Toms VR, my VS has only hubbys on it. Otherwise i would keep the SS rims.

Yeah, unfortunately i have to travel a fair distance every fortnight. So pretty much anything over 17 inch is pushing it D= which sucks.

The VT ss rims look good . I put 18 inch cv8 rims on my ute which I think look good . Check my page and pics

Those rims on your VS in 17 inch would look sick. Go for it!

Come to think of it most rims suit them but i can see in my head those looking sweeet

honest opinion, they'll look sh*t, especially at that size...

for me, it's either a good set of wheels that complement the car or nothing at all

if you want a nice set of 17's, grab some calais internationals second hand

Those SS rims you have look great, but I suppose if you want your car to look like every other tacky P-plater car out there you could put that other junk on...

Ah dude, as ive stated twice before, the picture is not my car, its Tom's VR. My car has only 15 inch stockos with hubcaps on it

rodney jane racing mags are up there with the worst quality of mags. lightweight and crack easy. i wouldnt get them, but if you like em go for it

I'd see be patient and get the SS rims there are heaps around i think. They dont look as cheap IMO

i know a bloke wit some VY SS rims few scrathes but he only want 300 bucks.....NO tyres though......anyway...the cheap studff is out there...

Well the tyres i have on my car at the moment are these cheap crappy japanese made toy car tyres which pop and i are afraid they'll pop when i do the fortnightly trip to gladstone, and theres no point in buying new stocko tyres when im just going to go buy rims at the end of the year. So its more of a pressed decision. =/

I reckon if ur gona go thru tyres qwik def stick with 17's tho, but as said if u can maybe find some new style ss rims...im selling VX ss rims for what would probly be less than ur plans but u live too far haha
