As title says. Minus the fact it could be a happy dyno. Senator has:
Factory CAI + K&N Panel filter
The factory HSV headers into a single cat 3" exhaust / hot dog / rear resi
Foam tune (nothing fancy from what i know, runs nice and smooth but noticible power difference when i put it in over the stock 185 HSV tune)
Serviced 1000km's ago, religiously serviced by previous owner and myself
Will have a brand new O2 sensor before it hits the dyno saturday
Run on BP 95 PULP
158XXX genuine KM's on the clock
Any rough idea on figures i can expect?

Yeah that's what i was thinking. Sweet, i'm happy with thatCan't expect much more without more mods.

pS. 142-152 rwkw take your pick, bit hard to go over 150 in a auto without a fancy exhaust
sorry too sound like an idiot but is this a 6 or an 8?
what type of KW too expect out of the same mods on an ecotec then?
130 max is the most you will get
whats standard kw with no mods then?
my VP was 130rwkw when completely stock (and auto)
Stop being a tightarse cobez and buy 98![]()

Well see i USED to run it on BP Ultimate up until about 3 months ago. Switched down to 95, runs the same and i get only a FRACTION less km's out of a tank than i did on 95.
I might buy some of that magical NOS octane booster saturday morning and throw that in the tank, i'll easily crack 200rwkw![]()

Also ive notice no difference between 91 and 95 octane really except i get a tad more KMs out of 95, been thinking about tryin 98 but with no power gain theres no point, unless someone can prove that higher octane will provide more power to these cars?
The 185i motor is just a normal 304 with a 185kw HSV factory tune.

example ive heard about a VZ thunder ute which off a 91 octane tune could only pull about 220ish rwkw with a tune, but with 98 octane was able to get 240rwkw because of the twin knock sensors or something it just runs poorly on 91 fuel, so if you got your holden 5L tune to run on just 98 you could get some actual power gains, because higher price for just a lil more KMs doesnt really add up, apart from the fact it 'cleans' your engine
LMAO, getting more k's from the tank doesn't justify the extra cost? It sure does with both my cars. That means i pay LESS per k i travel......

I use 95 and honestly get a bit more to the same amount I spend but its not much, I only wanted to try it to see if the car performed any better.

So if you do pull a lower number, dont be disappointed, its probably just a low reading dyno. Let us know how you go anyway
