gear drive

hey, just want ton know the benifits of having a gear drive (beside the noise) on my 5.0 rather than the cam chain?

No benifit at all really,when compared to a good quality double roller chain....ive known of 3 people with gear drives,2 high quality,and one ebay special,all had pretty much destroyed themselves within 20,000 klms.....just wank factor on a 5.0
