    Default Vr brake fluid?

Can't find the brake fluid spec for my VR V6 in my manual. And can you recommend some brands? Cheers...

Valvoline performance Dot4 brake fluid. this fluid is blue so it is easy to see when you bleed it through.

Dot 3 or above is good, but dont mix them always bleed the new one through. I personally use castrol, but thats just whats available at my local store so i use it.

Agree with bleeding it , given the age of the car complete new fluid is worth the cost.

All std Dot 4 fluid comes from the same factory in Europe, same factory that also makes some lines of Dulux paint. Only when you get into the racing brake fluids or synthetics are there different manufacturers involved.

If it's just a street car, ANY Dot 4 fluid at $7 a bottle will do. If you're after a performance brake fluid then the stuff we use and reccomend is the TRW G600 Racing Brake fluid (and is still Dot 4 compatible) and $65 for a 1L bottle.
