VS gear knob

Hey everyone,

is it poossbile to change the gear knob to an after market one that is similar to the Vt ones that makes you push down to change gear instead of pulling that little flap bit upwards? If so anyone know where i can get one? My one is hard to pull up and have to use effort to change the gear.

I don't see why not. The transmissions are the same so the shift distance should match. You'd have to obtain a whole shifter assembly from a VT and drill out your VS one and rivit the new one in. Might be a bit of stuffing around with the electrics though.
