Default Vacuum hoses, one each side of manifold on a 304

What vacuum hoses are they? One of mine has a split in it. They sit under the top engine covers along the fuel rail.

the two that come to mind are from the map sensor and the fuel regulator, either way, it wont run rigth till you replace the hose.

edit: unless you ae talking about the hoses about the diamater of your thumb that run along each fuel rail? thats the heater hoses. could be losing some coolant if its split.

The 1 on the right hand side is a heater vacuum from the heater control. It's about 3mm round. It goes to a 1 way valve behind the motor near the coil.

Wicked thanks guys. Spoke to my mechanic too, he said the same thing, but he said if i'm going to replace the heater tap hose, to replace the heater tap as well, because everytime he has done a hose on a customers car, the tap has basically fallen apart in his hands more or less.

Meh, my old tap didnt brake, but i was replacing all my cooling system anyway so put a new one in along with new hoses etc.

The old vac lines are terrible, ive replaced all of mine now, as soon as you touch them they just crumble they are so brittle

Yeah this one is pretty haggard, mechanic is gonna do it for me on friday when he does a few other bits in prep for the dyno tune next week. May as well do the heater tap, they cost **** all anyway.
