fried vs

hey i think i may have connected my battery the wrong way around on my vs , would this have fried my computer and how hard is it to fix? could it just be the main fuse??

i've only just yesterday posted the same QUESTION (only my M8 did the honours of connecting the battery arse-about 4 me)>>> & after thinking the same 'O.M.(f***en)G' THE COMPUTERS FRIED i jumped online & got the cool,calm reply of HAVE U CHECKED your fusible links and other fuseS ??? my alt was cooked so i replaced that,then got the workshop bible out and traced back from the battery 2 the fusible links (MAIN one was blown) to the alt then along to find the cruise control was on the same line & then checked out the under the dash to find the CRUISE CONTROL & HAZARD light fuses were melted!!! LEARNING SOMETHING EVERY DAY but i haven't replaced any of the fuses yet but will let u know the FINAL outcome once i do... DID YOUR ALT BURN-OUT with smoke & all??? did the cruise control SPEED setting light stay on after u hooked the battery up da wrong way??? any good-LUCK & i'll let u know wot happens...
