how do i remove the ac button cover.

Just wondering how i can remove my ac button thingy all the black paint on it has frailed off and want to replace it... does it just pop off with a bit of leverage?

u need to remove the dash ( the one whole black) off and u can push it out more easy.. hope this will help u ..

i dont wanna remove the whole ac switch just the ac button? do i really have to remove the dash for that?

yea ac button go with switch .. its common problem, i got same problem as u but i just leave like this .. cos its ages.

Just be careful when you take the facia of, as the tabs around the sides like to snap off.

you cant just pull the face off, you need a whole new button and they are not expensive so theres no need to worry about the cost. I have had just the face off, but it was cause it was broken...i pushed the button in then the whole face sprung off. I had to glue it back together as thats how they are made.
