    Default boot

    Hey guys!

    Iv got a vs

    The boot goes half way up and you bang your freeking head on it so im just wondering how much for vs gas struts for the boot??

    is it best to get it off ebay or whoever sells it??

    yeap i got a set off ebay a while ago, i think it cost me like $30, at the time i had a spoiler, and once it was removed the boot once released would lift up by itself due to less weight.

    they are piss easy to install also

    You could use any gas strut couldnt you???
    Just buy one or two from supercheap, probably sheaper??

    yea u could, u just need to know the length and pressure. there are 2 available, 1 for boot with spoiler, and 1 for boot without spoiler.

    your repco, supercheap, or local auto shop should have them, price u'd have to shop around for

    Just replaced mine with a set off eBay for $30 a pair including delivery. All the stores - Repco, Supercheap and Autobarn were two to three times as much for a single gas strut.
