Default Tail shaft questions..doing manual conversion

Hi, im going to be doing a manual conversion on a V6 VR ute soon and the only thing im missing is the manual tailshaft.

The question i have is what tailshaft will fit? do i need to find one for a manual ute?
or will the sedan and wagon tailshafts fit?
I know the yokes are different for the autos and manuals.. could i get the manual yoke and put it on my tailshaft thats on my auto? or will my shaft be to long for that..??

any info would be great. thanks

If anyone had a manual tailshaft for sale to suit a borg warner 5 speed Vr ute let me know

its been a why'll since i did it but you have to check once you have done the conversion. it comes down to where the centre bearing braket lines up. use a tape measure to check first. im sure when i did mine a used the rear from my ute and the sedan front with manual yoke just by undoing the centre bearing. hope that helps.

for the ute find any manual tailshaft for your model, ute, wagon or sedan doesnt matter. just use the manual front half attached to the rear of your existing tailshaft, it should be covered in the manual conversion thread in the how to section.

Hey guys sorry to jump in on your thread westbad just thought pointless of creating a new one for a simple questions??

Was told the other day the series 3 auto vs ute sedan and wagon had the clutch pedal mounting bracket already attached???

If its not attached does it need to be welded???
