Vehicle speed sensor fault

Hi all, has anyone had any experience with the VSS on a series 2 vs 5.0?

I ran a diagnostic check and up came a code 72.

Is it sill OK to drive the car? It's going in for its 100km service next month and I was going to service the trans anyway.

The car seems to start, run and stop just fine otherwise.

be fine but you will need to get it fixed when you get time, or clear the codes first and see if it comes back first. It will probably need replacing.
