abs on vs's?

i'm gonna be putting a vs v8 in my car soon and was wondering what the deal with the vs's was as far as abs went. did it come standard at all levels, or was it optioned.

could you, for instance get a vs exec v8 without abs?

yes it was an option. Acclaim had it standard, exec did not.

Yeah definitely an option on the executive. Acclaim had it standard as it was the 'safety pack' model, but Berlina and Calais also had it standard as they were luxury models.

i have an executive without airbag or abs but with cruise control and power mirrors, i think at the time you could pick n choose your options.

and these execs being mentioned, they were available without the abs, but in the v8?
just trying to prepare an argument if vicroads try to act like bureaucratic ****s over an engine power increase of 4kws

yeah, for some reason I have an S pack without ABS but with an airbag... weird.

yep, my vs exec is V8 manual live axle and its the full poverty pack, no abs, airbag, cruise or power windows

what kind of kws is a 3.8L
and how much is a 5.0L kws??. (both stock)

the VS supercharged 6 was only 4kw's less power than the V8.

i meant 4kw between the vp v8 and vs v8. just dont want them to turn around and tell me i need abs, airbag and anything else that came with the 8. seems the 8 pov pack was basically what i have now tho.
