Default Vr Ute - not running right

    Hi Guys,
Im linzi i have just purchased a vr ute, and its not running right,
It is very sluggish off the start, and sometimes konks out for no reason, (while driving and somtimes stopeed), the idle is rough sounding and always sounds like it wants to cut out on me, does anyone know what this problem might be as im a chick and have no idea what this could be??

    Any help would be great

next time u buy a car get sumone that knows a lil bit about cars to go with you, could be flowed plugs, shot leads, ignition pack or a simple idle control valve

First thing to do is a codes check - instructions are here and it is very easy to do and may give you a clue - tell us the results: Checking error codes VR/VS (Revised)
I've got 4 daughters who all know basic car maintenance and look after their cars better than my sons ....you can do the same.
It sounds like a bad plug or a lead but do the codes check first....and ask questions.
    Good Luck.

My VR was doing the same thing and it turned out to be a gunky Throttlebody and Idle Air Control Valve. Some carby cleaner and a rag fixed that up
