Fuel tank help!

Im about to repair a fuel leak on my 3.8 vs in the fuel tank area. So im going to replace the fuel tank while im there, is there any difference between the V6 Sedan: 59L tank to the V8 Sedan: 73L tank besides the straps.... is the fuel pump/sender unit the same? any help please.....

I put A vs ss 73l tank into my vp everything worked fine the only difference was the plug for the Vs to vp different but you shouldnt have any dramas

Cheers man... where bouts does this plug go and can i take it off my original vs 59L tank?

right at the very back of the boot floor under the carpet on the driver side (near the back seat bracing) and it runs through the floor to the outside of the fuel tank where the sender and pump goes in,if you have a level 3 dash I am not sure if distance to empty will still be accurate but the fuel gauge will still work fine, I had a level 2 dash in my VP
