So i get my replacement fuel tank from the wreckers today ...
As far as fittings go it will all work out,the replacement fuel tank is out of a vs statesman..apparently..but ive just noticed the left had fuel tank strap at the front end does not have a bolt hole ...it has like a welded steel mold same material as the tank strap that is meant to fit into the chassis or body...this is where im confused as my vs executive does not have the provision....is it just a spare part i can get from holden or am i screwed...there are 2 bolts coming from the inside of the body so im hopeing all i need is a part...any help guys would be great
