How low can you go?

hey all,
ive been wanting to know how low i could actually have my calais sitting but am abit iffy and not educated enough about the suspension system in my car..

so far ive been told by mates that because of my car having irs i cant have it sitting low like the picture of the silver vs acclaim on hubbies ( correct me if im wrong ) ..located on the thread ~ post your lowered pics & how much.

any help would be appreciated

do a search or ring your state licensing centre. Dont ask an online forum something that could mean you on the wrong side of the law.

too many people will tell you different things, and filtering out the crap from the truth can be hard.. just ring your licensing centre.

but licensing centres? for what reason would i need to ring them up when simply asking how low you can go with a car that has irs?!

because there's too many idiots on here that pass on stuff that they've heard, without even checking if its true. You'll most likely be given the wrong info, or info thats only valid in other states and not yours. Just dont want you to get defected because you were given the wrong advice. Ask the people that would be issuing the defect to avoid them completely.

I think he is talking about how low he can physically go, not how far he can legally go.

GMHCalais - you will be able to get down to legal height no problem. If you want more than that I'm sure someone will be able to give you more help
