holden vs ute series 3.. 2000 model

hey mate,,

I have a holden vs ute series 3 2000 model... it has 72 000 km on it... and i have been having sum trouble with the clutch... wen the clutch is disengaged while the engine is runing it makes a scrapping sound every now and then especially when its cold... once its warm its gud as new though.. just wondering what it might be?? and what sort of cost i mite be up for...

sounds like the thrust bearing or spigot bearing either one is gearbox out... sorry to say
