Default check Tail Light dash light on

    Hey guys,
I have a 95 statesman and whenever i have my headlights/park lights on i get a "check tail lights" up on my dash, however, when i put my foot on the break it goes away... I assumed that the tail lights were faulty so i replaced them, however, its still happening. Any ideas? Common fault?

You need to go through a relearn process every time the battery is disconnected for the warning light to work properly as follows:
    1. Engine off.
    2. Reset BCM by pulling out the fuel pump fuse in the fuse/relay box under the bonnet. Wait for 30 secs and then replace.
    3. Start engine and allow to idle.
    4. Turn on parking lights. Wait 5 seconds.
    5. Press brake pedal. Wait 5 seconds.
    6. Turn off parking lights. Wait 5 seconds.
    7. Turn off engine. Release brake pedal.
    8. Relearn completed.
