so far ive dont cai, extractors , 2 and a half inch catback and im awaiting delivery on a tuned memcal.
what should i be looking at next that doesnt break then bank?
recommendations please , i dont want to go all out because its a 6 after all but if i can get more out of it for not too much more cash i will.
id get some high ratio roller rockers man and maybe a shift kit![]()
ive been thinking level 2 shift kit but i dont know enough about them to make any decisions yet.

haha if i was gonna spend that much id start again with a V8
dont forget on top of that theres the 140 postage, Block prep ( dunno how much that will cost but it wont be cheap), and then labour for a mechanic to put it all together if your not to good with cars. You also need a bit of a buffer for additional unanticipated part, labour etc...
Im just saying its all gunna add up, so before you make a rushed decision make sure you got the green to back it up.

problay $500 max so it looks like it will be a level 2 shift kit unless anyone has any better ideas.
Yeah for $500 that's about all you will get, with maybe $100 change if you are lucky.

yeah +1 for the stage 2 shift kit they are great!
By the time you've got a 4.2L stroker kit installed properly and tuned, you'll be doing well if you have much change out of $10k. Not sure why you'd bother really when you could jump into a V8 for less, or strap on a blower.

if you rev it out in first long enuogh it will auto shift upto second anyway i think, same with the other gears ... stops it doing that i think.
also would let you drop it back straight into 2nd from drive etc, someone correct me if im wrong.
