right...basic mods allmost done, what should i look at next for my ecotec auto

so far ive dont cai, extractors , 2 and a half inch catback and im awaiting delivery on a tuned memcal.
what should i be looking at next that doesnt break then bank?
recommendations please , i dont want to go all out because its a 6 after all but if i can get more out of it for not too much more cash i will.

Not sure if it will be to expencive for your wallet but maybe a 4.2 stroker kit???. Im not sure the price of them, or maybe even a twin throttle body manifold?

dont forget on top of that theres the 140 postage, Block prep ( dunno how much that will cost but it wont be cheap), and then labour for a mechanic to put it all together if your not to good with cars. You also need a bit of a buffer for additional unanticipated part, labour etc...

Im just saying its all gunna add up, so before you make a rushed decision make sure you got the green to back it up.

Its says 520hp...22k is a lot to pay for 520hp what a rip off

you could get an LS2 and blow it for less that 10k and get more that 520hp

Performance wise wouldnt you be better getting yella terra rockers?? or maybe a higher ratio diff

Yeah for $500 that's about all you will get, with maybe $100 change if you are lucky.

I'd like to see him get a set of YT rockers and have them fitted for $500. Even if he was gonna fit them, $500 won't buy a set of YT rockers mate. Wouldn't even buy a set of Pacies brand new.

level 2 trans it is then, i like the idea of the rockers but money is a factor.
besided im happy with how it goes now and the chips not even in it yet.

By the time you've got a 4.2L stroker kit installed properly and tuned, you'll be doing well if you have much change out of $10k. Not sure why you'd bother really when you could jump into a V8 for less, or strap on a blower.

* Holds manual 1st - 2nd - 3rd to any RPM - backshifts to gear you select.

if you rev it out in first long enuogh it will auto shift upto second anyway i think, same with the other gears ... stops it doing that i think.
also would let you drop it back straight into 2nd from drive etc, someone correct me if im wrong.
