VS Caprice. V8 Water Pump Change

Hey all

Have to replace the water pump on my 5.0 VS Caprice. Of course i lent the manual to a mate and hasn't made its way back yet.

Anyone got a step by step? I've searched the site but its all on the V6's it seems.

From memory, the radiator can stay in, its fan off, loosen belts, bolts etc

I don't think it would be very hard, just take the fan off, disconnect all the water lines and pull it off. but I'd probably just take the radiator out so you have plenty of room to work with. also drain the coolant first. then apply a new gasket and put it all back together.

Good chance to change the coolant I suppose.
