Hi guys, I have a vibration sound that comes and goes but very bloody irritating to say the least.
It comes from the front left hand guard, sorta a humming sound, so when it happened again yesterday i got out the car and found that it seems to be comming from a small metal pipe that runs inside the left hand guard and goes out to the brake assembly,[ i guess a brake fliud tube ] when I held it the noise stopped, I notice there is a metal clip that holds it into position and feels very tight, so I am wondering if there should be a rubber that suppose to be inside that clip that may have fallen out and causing this vibration sound.
any help is appreciated,
thanks
Rony
If possible could someone please have a look at their brake fliud tube that goes along the front passenger inside of guard and see if there is a rubber in that clip, thanks heaps if someone could have a look for me.
G'Day Ron, no rubber I can see but there is a clip - pix attached and hope it helps..
Thanks very much Hako and thanks for the pic as well, I guess I will have to explore more into this, might try another rubber gromet that the tube goes through to the brake assy.
thanks again mate

it might be the source of the sound, but prehaps not the source of the excessive vibration, good luck with it.
Maybe the passenger side engine mount has sagged and is either metal to metal or the silicone inside the mount has leaked (the silicone is supposed to dampen vibrations).
Thanks guys, I finally worked it out,it was a loose bolt which held on a bracket for the gas conversion equipment, on top of the front shocker they had mounted a bracket, the nut was really loose, tightened it up and the vibration went away, thank god, what a pain in the but it was.
When I held the brake fluid pipe my hand must have cushinged the vibration to quite it down, one major pain in the arse solved![]()

gotta love it when a problem is solved simply by tightening a bolt
Hahaha agreed
