Hey guys and gals, I member reading somewhere on here but cant find it now. My vs sits 15 mm higher on the left hand side. Is this due to some one always sitting in drivers seat, the way the engine turns over or just dodgy lowering job???
hey mate, my car is the same, i went to pedders but they said come back in a week cause thats when the main suspension bloke was back from holidays......
i dunno why they do it. i've also come across 3 other VS and VR's tat have the sam problem...
Some say it's due to the camber of the road.......
but i say thats bullshit...........
anyway, if you do find a cure, be sure to let me know....
hey guys, i have the same problem with my VY ute.
pedders in mandurah sorted me out, no reason given but the bushes front and rear needed replacing, the top mount bush on the frontstrut had gone, pushing the strut tower up 10mm, out the back, the camber kits had rotated so they were opposite settings.
my theory is the diff, when the powers transferred to axle usually its biased one side. LSD's would change this. mine has a built diff. but when you watch it launch one side lifts higher than the other. it follows the direction that the motor is turning, so i would put it all down the power transfer.
but my ute has done alot of drag racing so maybe thats why mine was exteme, i had 20mm difference.
the camber in the road might have something to do with it. most roads tho tend to be rough around the edges. so the left side is always gettig canned with pot holes, uneven surfaces where as the right usually has more luck being in the middle of the road. so the left sides bushes would get more of a work out in theory and wear faster than the inside wheels??? just a thoery lol
