vx auto into v8 vs, can it be done.

Maybe someone knows if this can be done.
Can a auto out of a vx v6 be modified to bolt up to a vs v8?
If so what parts are needed to make the swap.

Looks like i will get a v8 vs calais real cheap with a cactus box.
I have a vx box sitting under a tarp waiting for a new home.

Whilst i don't know the specifics on this one, I have learned that anything will go into anything. Its just a question of time and money.

However, wouldn't it just be easier to get a VS T700 and negotiate a drop in the price accordingly?

It's gonna be a fair bit of work (so, as above, time and money). It can be done, but not without a fair bit of mucking around.

It is generally known that the V8 and V6 4l60e's from the VS alone can not be swapped due to the different amount of splines on the input shaft.

I don't know if they have different gear ratios either.
