hot wire condition

i recently took my car to a mechanic to get him to run it on the computer only to find that it had hot wire condition from the bcm can anyone tell me what it means and how do i fix it as i have had a few issues as of late and that may be the cause

The only hotwire I know of is in the MAF, and the bcm wouldn't pick that up (the ecu might).

I imagine if it is the MAF hotwire, you need a new MAF (Mass Air Flow sensor)

Check your error codes, cause if something was logged and he saw it, you may be able to find it.

ty for those who replyed but as i said it is a error code from the bcm and from what i can work out my car is running as if its stolen i checked all areas and only had error 13 which is o2 sensor signal missing i fixed that by cleaning out the plug
