how can u tell if a hsv is authentic?,like where exactly are the plates suppose to be?

you call HSV with the VIN number, and they tell you if its genuine, you cant rely on the plates these days with ebay, you can buy them and the stamping tool

or u can go on the hsv website and put the vin and it will tell u

arrr thanx guys,i was looking at a hsv vn commodore svle the other day and i thought it just looked like a nv with body kit,and as i looked under the hood it was only a 6 cylinder and they were all 8's.

you can check on the HSV website if you have the VIN number

if your in VIC you can take the rego and put it through the Vicroads Website (free) to see if it is stolen/encumbered etc.
during this process, it will give you the VIN which you can then put through the HSV Authenticate website and then you will know if it is genuine or not.
