supercheap auto spring and shockie kits

hi guys my shockies on my vs sedan r fail. i dont wanna spend lots of money on the car cause my street hooning days r over i just use it to goto work and on the highway [wonders all over the place ]anyway i saw in supercheap auto they had sum strut assemblies ready to drop straight in my car i cant really recall the brand but they were decently priced you got the strut tower bearing top and spring and shockie i think was about 250 dollars ? so yeah the whole thing to replace on my car im not after big performance but i figure for the money this would b a better option than having no shockies at all like ive basically got now has any1 used or no of these suspension replacements cheers muz

So, because you can't hoon you want to go cheap on your car?

If you go cheap, you'll most likely have to keep replacing it with cheap stuff. Check out GSL Rallysport (one of the site sponsors), as they seem to have some decent stuff at some pretty good prices.

if your gonna sell it soon, go with the superchump auto variety,

if you plan on keeping her for a little while yet, spend the extra cash and buy into a good quality and value strut/shock that'll last... kyb, monroe etc.

you'll end up saving in the end

get the decent bits for a few more $$. Even better, save yourself a fortune and sell it. it's getting a bit long in the tooth and if spending money isn't something you want to do probably better off with a more modern vehicle.

Actually, what brand are they, cause Kings were teaming up with Monroe to do suspension packages.

they are probably Monroe, i have seen them in supercheap catalogs...
You would be better off buying a set of decent shocks and fitting them yourself ... have a look in the GSL thread. at $250 each ( 500 total ) you could do much better than the supercheap stuff.

luckily i ran into a guy i no and he owns a suspension place here he said he would do me a cash job for around 750 for all this ----4 lowered lovells springs----strut tops[bearings]---- 2 new strut assemblys----- and rear shockies fitted .the shockies are ultimas and there good a mate has the same setup in his ute gives an awsome ride and lovells are good stuff so ill get it done next week when work permits cant wait
