hey guy's my car hs a slow cranking problem..
i sprayed some WD-40 on the terminals... and it's fixed it.... for now...
so what do you think it could be??
just wondering what voltage the battery should be pumping out when starting it...?
clean your battery terminals and check the wire on the stater motor soleniod it might be losse
A battery in good condition should hold 10v across the battery terminals, provided no other probs like starter motor or other electrics. Check battery terminals for corrosion and tightness. If you dont possess a multimeter, then get someone to crank engine and you feel the battery terminals. If hot - hi resistance present between terminal and post or lead into terminal and will require cleaning/tightening/replacing. Suss this out and get back to us if problem persists. Regards Col.
