Michelin Preceda PP2's on '96 VS SS?

Hi all,

Looking at a new set of boots for the VS II SS on it's factory rims. (225/50/16)

I have been looking at some Michelin Preceda PP2's for a nice quiet sport sedan tyre that will sharpen up the steer.

I've got some Dunlop LeMans LM 702's, and right from the start I was never happy how the car steered when fitted from new.
Grip was ok, but noisey!!!! Cricky they'd kick up a din on a smooth road.

Interested with any comments on the Michelin or any other tyre fitted to this model.
