    Default heater no hot air

    got no hot air coming through heater only cold fan air any one able to give me some ideas how to fix this its cold at night and in the morn and cold in my car help please would be great its vs v6 ecotec

    It is probably due to the heater tap (valve) not opening due to it being seized or not having any vacuum to it. The heater tap is in the engine bay on the driver's side, it has 4 hoses connected to it and a thin vacuum hose at the top.

    as mentioned, check the little vacuum hose is connected and not perished

    not an expensive part if you need to replace the whole tap... pull it up out of its bracket, disconnect hoses and lines, connect hoses and lines to new tap and place it back in its bracket. not a bad idea to replace all the hoses while your there either.

    you'll lose some coolant tho so will have to top up and re-bleed the system aswell

    ^^^agreeed heater tap.
    Once a week I run the heater up and down to keep tap from being seized.
