removing door handles?

hi everyone i want to colour code my door handles to match the rest of the car, but i dont really kno how to get them out?
i have got the door trim off but i cant notice any easy way to get them out?

ok..... Take your door trims off. Pull back your plastic water shield, Slide the pin across (Left or right, Can't remember) on the back of the door handle, it's about 3-4 inches long. Unclip the white clips and pop the rods off and slide the handle bit out through the front. Be really carefull of your paint. The outer part juts pops out, just have to take the rubber seal off , that sorta holds it in.

Once you see how it works, its really easy to do. Just have a really good look and you'll get how they work


Be careful of the paint!!!! They are harder to put back in than take out.

if i were you id mark where each handle came from i.e match the thing you pull up to the same surround. I got mine all mixed up and panel beater had to bend the handles a tad so you can pull it up without touching anything

ok i jus had a go at this but this is not clear enough for me to figure out. slide which pin? and what clips? i cant see any off this if any1 has better explanation and pictures or something pls put in yur 2 cents worth or ben if you could better explain it then that be sweet

ok so those instructions are for the outer door where i was looking for instructions for the inner door but got mine out so just ignore that last comment

Im going to colour code my door handles also, but i will just leave them on the vehicle and paint them, thats easier than taking them off. Also, do you need some sort of metal primer to prime the handles before you paint??
