vr statesman. front bar indicator replacement?

hey just a quickie. on a vr statesman how do i remove the front bar indicators to change them.


i have a new set of clear ones to replace my dodgy looking orange ones.

any help appreciated.

my general knowledge thinks i must have to remove the front bar.

hope thats not the case. cheers guys

worked it out. takes all of 2 minutes. 3 clips one on the end one on the top and the other on the bottom.


just a tip for anyone upgrading from vr to vs lights. the plug is different. so take the loom from where it plugs into the headlight loom.


the blue and black plug. hope this helps someone. woulda saved me some stuffing round.

i used the old globe holders off the vr indicators and chopped off one of the mounts

as the vr has 3 mounts and the vs only has 2. and that sorted it.

the guy i bought my front bumper clear indicators from only sent the drivers side one so now i have to wait for the other one to come, i did chuck the drivers side one on though. yeah the globe fitting does slot properly so just shaved one of the knobs off then it went in fine. cheers for the heads up, i also got myself a pair of clear side indicators as well so it will be no more ugly orange ones for me very soon.
