VR. Slipping in first and reverse when cold.

Tried seaching for this but couldn't find anything.
When I start my car up and it's cold it slips in both reverse and first. Revs up to 3 grand but doesn't go over 20kms... It's fine once it warms up though.. Any ideas?

Im no expert but check trans fluid wait till its fairly warm and check it should be at the HOT mark, if trans fluid is fine maybe get it serviced. Theres heaps of people on here who know more then me hopefully someone can help ya but check the trans fluid first all the best.

yer man,i got a vr and mine use 2 do that every morning,so i checked the trans fluid and it was low as so i topped it up and now in the last 2 months its only done it ounce so check it and if it needs it top it up but DONT OVER FILL IT!!!!!

Get it warmed up and keep it running before you check the level

yer gregoris says drive a minimum of 24ks and move the selector rite through all the gears and select park(while still idling) on level ground,then check the fluid
