hey does anyone know if this error code 24 vehicle speed sensor would stop the gearbox from engaging 1st 2nd 3rd 4th but allow reverse....
car reverses fine revs in neautral...
but when in any drive geas 1 - 4 she just revs...nothing more
its a vr v6 berlina
on holiday
should still get some drive third gear and reverse is the backup setup for the electronic auto and should still be able to select 2nd as well with the stick
I tune the oldschool way fear on the passengers face and knuckle colour cant go wrong

i can move the selector through all the gears that part is fine... but it wont sorta well clunk into gear... its as if its in neutral all through the drive gears 1 -4
reverse clunks in and works fine..
the auto hasnt been slipping or anything it was a sudden went to take off from the lights and nothing it just revs....
the only error that came up was 24
