    Default VS Ecotec DYNO results

    hey guys just interested what ppl have gotten out of their ecotecs .

    MY 95 VS commodore EXEC :
    mods carried out-
    5 speed getrag manual conversion
    standard spec clutch
    OTR CAI
    K&N high flow panel filter
    Pacemaker Extractors
    Redback 2 an 1/2 inch cat back exhaust
    MACE ultra high ratio rockers 1:98:1
    LSD diff (standard gears)

    Had the car dynoed Today and made a healthy 139.9kw ATW could'nt sqeeze out the extra .1kw But still Very Pleased with the result .



    Greenfoam if ur reading this thread just woundering if u can map up a memcal to improve my result ?? if so let me know and i would gladly pay you to help me out

    doing the run in 3rd will make it higher should be done in 4th gear
    I tune the oldschool way fear on the passengers face and knuckle colour cant go wrong
    tabbacco is still my favorite vegetable

    I agree, it should be 4th gear for a manual and 3rd for a auto, i think.

    i would have expected 120-130rwkw, and i agree, should be done in 4th

    hmm might have too get my auto dynod soon , cai,extractors, 2.5 catback , delcowizard tune, cai ... might wait till i get the lvl 2 trans done tho.
    will not having the roller rockers make much dif?

    I had a guy with a auto, same mods as that also make 139rwkw, but he had some more timing in it and this is a manual. In the end that probably ends up the same. Also I am reading I'll help you get that .1 rwkw no problem but I don't know how far over 140 it will go

    haha awsome so how much more could we squeeze out with a memcal remap ?? and if like u said not far over 140 like 1 or 2 kw then dont stess i'll just leave it how is .

    It seems healthy, and thats spot on to me! manual and rockers help it substantially too.

    My manual VS made 142 (back in the day) with 1.8 rockers, twin exhaust and a tad more timing

    iv got a vs v6 ecotec 4.0l 16.5 psi vortec supercharger making 262.6kwrw and i just brought a v3t-trim that will make 18.5psi
