Actually my VS doesn't even have a keyhole in the passenger door! But if you mean that the door will not lock when it should then I'd be removing the trim and make sure that the lock solenoid is free to move and not gummed or jammed up.

my rear passenger door doesnt respond to the key either, im guessing needs a new solenoid, havent pulled the trim off to have a look, cant be bothered really.
Some people say less talk more action, i say more torque less traction.

I found one of my solenoids were jamming and sprayed the unit with heaps of WD40 - instant fix. It becomes a REAL problem when you think you have locked the car but one door is still UNLOCKED.

might seem stupid but if u cant lock it by hand either check that the orange tab hasnt come out a bit as it will stop the lock from going down if it isnt all the way in

Ash81x - that ain't a stupid suggestion - my drivers door sticks every now and then and I just checked the orange tab and found it was fouling slightly. Thanks.

Re: passenger door wont unlock i,d say it would be the motor atuator in the door as it is a common problem in the commodores
