Question Electric fan

Does anyone know when the electric fan kicks in on a 1994 VR SS 5.0 its in front of the radiator. Its got a mechanical fan on the waterpump as well.

Default electric fan

the fan usually kicks in when your temp hits just under or at 3 quarters... If you have the A/C running the fan will be always running so your temp will never reach high if your A/C is on... Nothing to worry about.. thats how they were designed. They have sensors and they switch on when necessary. You will find that it will only get hot when your at traffic lights or driving real slow. Thats because there is no air intake going to the radiator...

Overall your all good.. thats how they were designed so your in good hands... It can be modified so that the fan constantly runs but you will be wasting your time and money...

goodluck...
