    Default uneven pad wear

wife complained about a funny noise under car.......checked and found passenger side rear brake pads all worn out. The rotors and pads are new all round. Any thoughts about why one wheel has worn like this? I replaced the hand brake shoes at the same time too. Am thinking maybe the slides are stuck? The outer pad is all gone and the inner has minimal left on it. The drivers side pads are still fine...plenty left.

    Any thoughts?

    regards,

With both pads worn on one wheel it would suggest the slides are stuck and/or the piston is badly corroded and not retracting when the brake pedal is released - this can happen in cars which don't have their fluid changed every few years. But first thing I'd try is free the slides up.
