ok my auto is on its way out i dunno what i should do

Reco if so how much ???

Rebuild if so how much?

fix the one i have ??

and should i get a stage 3 shift kit as well if so how much ?

reco and rebuild is the same thing and they will do your one unless they offer a replacement, stage 3 shift kit a full manualised valve body, made for racing, you HAVE to shift it up and down manually. Luckily for me, I've got a lot of mechanic mates, my old man been building race boxes and engines for years so I do alot myself. Prices vary from $800 to $3000 plus. If the car is stock, dont talk stages just tell the auto bloke to give a firmer shift and if he is good, he will know what to do, then compare the price he has quoted to the work you are getting done.

Stage 3 is overkill, it basically turns your auto into manual gearbox without a clutch.

just get your standard auto re-built... you drive a commodore, not a drag car
