blinkers problem

when i was driving home today, after my blinker turned off.. it kept ticking (the sound) in the dash..
then i saw a small amount of smoke coming from the cluster and could smell something burning.

i turned off the car for a min and the problem went away.


any ideas what could have happened???

shorted wire sumwhere , the flasher unit died etc .

or you let the smoke out of the flasher unit which is never a good thing .

are the blinkers working again ?

When was the last time you checked your indicator fluid ?

open up the fuse panel and look for something burnt out.
you might need a performance flasher relay if you turn corners often.

blinkers seem to be working fine now... i dont know what could have happened... its very weird
