Driver's side door just WONT OPEN!!!

A sudden malfunction with the front door ...!! THE DOOR WONT OPEN !!!.neither from the inside or from the outside.

I tried to find the screws but they are hidden..the door is locked and every time i have to enter from the other side..it's getting ridiculous!!..

Any help with the door???r!!.

sounds like the door mech has craped it's self. you will need to remove the trim to get access to the mech, the hidden screw is behind the lock knob, to remove the lock knob you need to pop the lil red piece out..

Either the mech is dead or the deadlock is stuck on... Either way you'll have to rip the door trim off. Does the lock button come up or is it stuck down?

The lock button comes up ..nothing wrong with it.
I just hear a click when trying to open up the dooor but nothing happens .
I'l try to remove the lock button and look again..

If the lock button comes up, it's directly attached to the lock mech... (Someone correct me on this?). Ergo, the regular remote locking mech is fine. It's probably the deadlock somehow stuck on. Try putting your key in the drivers door keyhole, turn it left 90 degrees... you should hear a click as the car deadlocks. The remote button won't work now, until you put the key in and turn it 90 degrees to the right, and un-deadlock it. Let us know if this does anything.

Happened to my missus vs I just pulled the top part of the trim off to get my hand in there (you cant take it completely off ) and just pulled the rod up.

had this problem with mine a few months ago. Ended up being the actually mechanism which when u close the door keeps it closed. On mine, the plastic that houses the metal hook had fallen apart.

If you can get the door open (i took mine to a smash repairer) to get it open, make sure you check out the actuators and the lock mech. Only takes a torque spit or whatever they r called to get it off.

You also might want to check the passenger side if your in a bit of a mood, as mine jammed up on both sides pretty close to each other.

Cost me about 30 per actuator and 15 for the lock mechs

yer gat the trim off some how and pull it up by hand then get a new 1 it is very painful
