hi all just want to know how much more proformance i would get on a vs ecotec and how much im looking at for one new or second hand and how hard are they to install are they worth it cheers any help would be great

hi, not much a "performance" upgrade as such, but shifts will be firm. best installed by an auto specialist.

how'd you go with the search?

I had one put in when my auto got rebuilt. 1st to 2nd changes are really quick and can be a bit annoying at low revs, and 2nd to 3rd are pretty firm as well when you are giving it a bit.

I haven't had a chance to go out to my regular peice of private rd to do a 0-100 comparison though, but I imagine it's noticably quicker
