    Exclamation v8 suspension into a v6 ?

hey guys i was recently going to upgrade my suspension but ran into fianancial dramas anyway a m8 is giving away his uneeded v8 suspesnion im wondering if any1 noes if v8 suspesnion will be fine in my v6 sedan live axial , i figure the v8 motor isnt that much heavier than the v6 and the bodys themselves are the same , the v8 stuff is 30 mm lowered so i guess if i put it into my v6 it would sit a little higher than that ? , wouldnt worry me at all thanks for any ideas muz

springs are different and i think the shockies have a different detail between live and irs, the only other thing between v6 and v8 springs is, that they are thicker

If your mates car is IRS and yours is Live axle then it's not going to work.

If your mates was live axel aswell then sure - it would be fine, but your car would not sit as low due to the v8 springs being thicker (as Zuicider said) .

IRS and live axle are completely different, the fronts should fit though.

I think you need this more though...

It doesn't have to be perfect, but I would like to be able to read things that I might be able to respond to. "m8", "any1", "noes", "axial". It takes 5 seconds to make sure that your post makes sense.

I'm not having a go at the OP, but most people don't want to have to decipher what they are reading.
