how to replace front struts

hi guys ok i picked up sum new struts for my vs today there a ready to bolt in replacement unit .strut housing , spring and i think its the bearing on top of the spring holding the assembly together ? so anyway i looked at the vn strut removal on the how to section.i figure the vs is very similar but was wondering what are the 5 or 6 little bolts in the engine bay on top of the towers what is it that they are holding in place ? do they all have to b undone when im ready to remove the whole strut assembly ? thanks muz

no, you don't touch the little ones just the big one in the middle. Remove that and the big washer comes off and allows the strut to fall out. Then poke your new one through the hole and put the big washer on from the top.
