VR Dash Cluster Thingy! hahaha

Ok im wanting to change the "dashboard cluster?" meaning i want to have an rpm installed as it doesnt have one at the moment. Im not keen on the almighty fuel guage - much rather have it like the manual HSV'S and stuff. So yeah a few questions:

Is this hard to do by myself?
Will i need a specialist to do it?
How much will it cost?

L2 will slot right in with no mods needed and the L2 has the tacho.

L3 will take a bit more work and need a patch loom to make the trip computer work on the L3 cluster.

i have a feeling your dash must have been changed at some stage?.... a Series 2 VR without a tacho??.....

i thought all VR's except Ute's had tacho's????
