Default Vs commodore computer problem!!!!!! Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hi people. atm im doing a conversion. iv got a vs v6 and t5 gearbox out of a commodore sedan and got it sitting in my beloved lx torana 4 door sedan. and so far this car is fighting me all the way.its all put together now. except the car is lacking a body modual. which as you all know acts as an anti theft device and the thing wont start unless its there. so i wanted to know how you go about getting the computer flashed? is it expensive? where can you get it done? any advice is very very very much appreciated. THANKS!!!!

If its a VS its only a memcal change , speak to br bob on this site through the Ask the EX-Holden Technician in the pub or him

he will be able to help you out with that,

the bcm signal can just be disabled

yeah i actually bought the conversion kit from them mate. they are good as long as your fitting something like a vn auto to a torana. but they dont make sumps to fit the vs, so you gota stuff around and find a way of making the vn sump working. then you gota make sure they understand you want a VS!! not a VN!! idler pully to by pass the power steering pump. oh and they say the t5 borgwarner box fits in no worries, but the borgwarner is longer and fatter than the gertag box, so you have to cut the gearbox tunnel, shift the gearbox hole back, build a box around the shifter to get the strength in the floor back. modify your centre console, oh and the clutch fork pushes back to release the clutch not forward like the torana's. so you put the commodore clutch assem in the torana which is fun.

and these guys also KNOW that you need one of there "body moduel simulators" to start the car. but they dont tell you that when you buy the kit. they tell you that when you ring up with the problem. and want to charge you 300 bucks for it...

these guys have really let me down with wrong information, and lack of information. even the wiring harness was for a vs but had a mix of vn and vs plugs on it!! you can see i havent had a good experience with these guys. lol
