Hey,
did something F***ing stupid tonite, had to go up a gutter to park and rode the clutch doing it, smelt really bad. when i took off the clutch wasnt releasing properly, but after another half hour didnt feel as bad. Have a screwed something up here?
My clutch is only about 15 000k's old, same with flywheel
The code is M35 for the gearbox, so if i need a new clutch will be be the dual mass flywheel job?
Thanks.
when ur driving along if u were to gun it dose it sound like the clutch is slipping( the engine revs but ya don't go and faster)
it did for the first acceleration after the first take off, after that it wasnt quite like it was before but it wasnt bad. i'm hoping after it cools off for a night it will be okay, cus the clutch is still sorta newish
it should be alright with it being so new, it shouldn't of damaged it to much, but if it keeps slipping, take it in to ur mechanics and see if that can't lift it,
thanks for your help mate, i was hoping becuase its not too old it would wreck it completely.
Thanks again, really re assuring to have another opinion.
Cheers.
it maybe that it just needs adjusting also.
Thought VS clutches were self adjusting??
