    Default trans 1/2 shift solinoid

    Yep thinking of my trans its got the problem when it gets hot it rams into 2nd gear with a hell of a thud, how much will this cost to fix by a mech? and how easy/hard is it to do at home? (turbo700r)

    Auto transmissions are a bitch to do at home. While it is possible to replace the servo, its really messy and you'll be swearing a lot. Best to just take it to an auto trans place. $150 max.
