    Default Cam Pulley broke

    My camshaft pulley broke the rubber bits craked and broke can i still drive it to the mechanics or should i get it towed also are cam pulleys expensive.

    Are you sure you don't mean harmonic balancer? The big black pulley at the bottom of the engine?

    If this is what's broken, yes you can drive it (gingerly) to the mechanic for repairs. You're probably looking at about $200 - $250 all up on an average.
