    Question tcc locked

    guys is there anyone who can tell me how to fix the ttc it locks only when you hit 90/100km each time i have to reset it and its fine until i go over 90/100km.

    I don't understand what the problem is?
    It's meant to lockup at cruising speed to save fuel
    Sounds to me like it's working fine.

    yes the engine light comes on by resetting it you can take out the engine fuse for a couple minutes and its fine.

    Oh, the engine light comes on. Why didn't you say so before?

    Check the error codes (there is a how-to somewhere). It'll tell you whats going on

    the test codes are 67 tcc solenoid and 69 tcc stuck on. Is it costly to fix ?

    If the TCC solenoid is busted then it costs about $50 for a new solenoid. That's the easy bit - then you have to fit it and a shop will add about $200 on top of that. It could also be the TCC solenoid wiring shorted or a blockage in the TCC solenoid or the TC broken. You can also fit it yourself if you are keen.
    Please don't double post - I answered your other identical thread last night titled "tcc locked up at 100km" to no avail.
